PointerFocus is a handy tool that helps you make certain things from your screen easier to notice. It’s a highlighting utility that adds various effects to the mouse cursor pointer making it more visible. As it can be figured out, PointerFocus is especially useful for those who create presentations or tutorials and who broadcast their screens to various audiences.
This nice application allows its users not only to highlight the cursor pointer using a color circle (a “spotlight”) and point out the mouse clicks, but also provides some additional functions, for example, keystroke visualization option. This option enables users to show on a screen the keys that they press in real time. Also, there is an option of on-screen magnification that helps you zoom in on various areas of the screen. A cool on-screen annotation pen will also amaze you by “annotating” any part of the screen with custom colors and a pen width.
What I really like about PointerFous are its options which allow users to customize the look of the spotlight, including its size, colors, and level of transparency.
Cutting long story short, PointerFocus is both simple and effective. It’s a very helpful tool for trainers, presenters, teachers, and other people dealing with presentations, demonstrations, and tutorials.
